http://www.quilterscache.com is my favorite. Marcia Hohn offers many patterns and a choice of sizes. There are many many sites with free quilt patterns Free Quilt Patterns.com is one that I like also. Be careful, you may find yourself browsing so much you won’t have time to quilt.

I love to quilt and love to do baby quilts. Check out http://www.appliquequiltdesigns.com for several ideas for baby quilts. Also look at the traditional quilt patterns, any of those could be made into a baby quilt with the right fabric.

My current favorite pattern is the ‘disappearing 9-patch’. It takes only 3 different fabrics, and you can have the top done in a couple of hours. It’s an extremely simple pattern that looks much more complex. There’s lots of pictures at the link below.

The best site for instructions for quilt blocks is Quilter’s Cache. Click on the drop down menu and choose "Quilt Blocks Galore" for the blocks, but also look through some of the other choices for basic info.

As for complete patterns, check the fabric manufacturers’ websites. The patterns are free and without ads because all they want to sell you is the fabric. You can also check out websites for quilting magazines and on-line shops. They usually have some free patterns and guides. Check this link for a list of quilting resources:

Well I got into sewing a yeart and a half ago and I go for my lessons at sew special in Uniontown Pa and they have a lot of good patterns.

The web site is sewspecial.com And I don’t know where you live but if you are ever in Downtown Uniontown, Pa stop there and look at all the materials.
