What’s you biggest quilting frustration?
I just love quilting. Sitting in my sewing room, putting together my latest quilt pattern is my therapy. All of my senses come into play. My eyes love all of the colors and quilt designs, my ears love the hum of the machine, my nose loves the smell of the fabric and my fingers love the feel of the soft cottons. I have to admit that taste doesn’t come into play unless you count the taste of some nice hot tea as I piece.
Then there is the satisfaction of the finished product. Even the joy of watching the quilt top come together makes me stop and just look at the quilt design develop. This is a very enjoyable art form.
BUTThere are frustrations. The sewing room that becomes blocked by all of the fabric piles, the corners that wont quite match up perfectly, the inability to find that perfect shade of green I need for that little strip in the center, the thread that keeps breaking for no apparent reason all conspire to make a perfect afternoon of sewing not quite so perfect.
My biggest frustration is in choosing or designing the right quilt pattern for the fabric I fell in love with on that trip to the wine country. Or, how do I show off the beautiful under water sea pictures so that each of the sea creatures is shown in all of his glory. Figuring out the best quilt pattern for each collection of material is often a time consuming exercise.
Once those decisions are made, however, I am back on a roll and the next quilt grows into existence.

you can do what ever you want… but the charity will just throw it away because they will not be able to use it.
So yes, it should meet all the current laws.
