Baby Quilting Patterns

When I saw the "6-hour" quilt that Kay Wood designed, I knew that was the first project that I would try with my serger.
It uses 6 inch strips of light, medium, and dark cotton fabrics, that are layered with the thin batting on the back. When you have all the strips sewn, you just need to put a binding on and you are done.
If you ‘google’ Kay Wood’ or serger quilts, that might be the place to start.
I paid $4.00 to have the pattern sent by email.
Many have made variations of this quilt and it is used often for quick quilts to give to the needy families after a disaster.
Eleanor Burns often makes pieced quilts with her serger. She just sews the seams the same as she would with her regular sewing machine..without trimming off any fabric. I watched her do a Hands All Around quilt on her TV program with the serger..so neat!

I quilted a few years ago and loved it and I want to get back into it.
Well i just had a miscarriage on July 10th and i want to make a blanket that has either a pretty angel (boy or girl) or a baby angel. I would need the measurements and how mych material I would need. Im still new to this and Im not sure what to do or look for! Thank you.

Hey there~!
